Why Us?
We put people at the heart of everything we do. If you join us, you’ll be making an immediate, measurable impact and will be a vital part of the community you serve. We have BIG plans: we’re going to grow by 200% over the next five years with strong support from the Morgan Sindall Group. There’s never been a better time to come and work with us.
We strive to ensure that the salary is competitive and the benefits packages we offer are the best in the industry. We believe that people should share in the results of their hard work, so we offer some individualised performance-related rewards.
Juggling work commitments and family life is a challenge for everyone. That’s why we offer a great holiday allowance with an opportunity to buy or sell additional leave. We even support those who hold public positions (i.e. school governors) by providing them with paid leave to fulfil their volunteering duties. We will consider flexible working options on all our roles, so please ask if you would like to explore this further.
As you might expect, there’s also a contributory pension plan and a life assurance scheme.
Apprenticeships
Our Apprenticeship Programme
For our Apprenticeship scheme you will learn your trade on the job under the careful mentoring of experienced engineers, while simultaneously working towards a nationally-recognised qualification. You’ll spend time learning in a virtual classroom environment, developing the theoretical knowledge that will set you up for a long, successful career in property services. Throughout your apprenticeship you’ll be supported and mentored by an experienced colleague. We believe there is no better way to get started in this sector.
College fees and travel costs are covered, and you’ll be paid a salary for the work you do on-site. You’ll get a minimum of twenty-three days paid leave a year, plus all the usual bank holidays. Best of all, you’ll get the chance to get a national qualification and start building your professional reputation among colleagues, customers and subcontractors, establishing a firm foundation on which you can build a career.
Our Apprentice programmes are designed to build the practical, academic and communication skills that will help you develop your career. The programmes are broken down into three elements:
- Management development, consisting of problem solving, communication, and presentation skills – these are highly useful and transferable skills.
- Professional development, the structured professional training scheme appropriate to your job role or discipline.
- Ambassador duties, where you’ll act as an ambassador and represent Morgan Sindall Property Services at careers events; you’ll advise others if this is the right course for them.
Our programmes are collaborative, interactive and teach you the skills you need to get your career off to a flying start.
